Learning English at the Rhön-Gymnasium!

Welcome to our grammar school!

Here you learn to speak, read, write and listen to English with the help of the textbook GREENLINE. 

In Years 5, 6 and 7, you have 4 English lessons/ week. In Years 8, 9 and 10, you learn English in 3 lessons/ week. And in the final years 11 and 12, you have 4 lessons of English/ week.

In Years 5 to 9, you can take part in the international English contest “The Big Challenge“. Besides, we organise to watch an English performance in the Meiningen Theatre, starting in Year 9. And hopefully, we will be able to go to London again in the seond last week of the school year – with all students of Year 11.

By the way, we are 12 enthusistic English teachers who haven’t had time for a photo yet (but hopefully soon).
